Maria was born about 1757 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.

Her husband was Domenico Santilli, who she married in ABT 1785. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Benedetto (c1788-c1864), Angela Cristina (c1790-1827) and Francesco (c1801-?).
