Domenico was born about 1773 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Carolina DiGiannantonio, who he married in ABT 1799. The place has not been found. Their six known children were Maria Gaetana (c1800-?), Maria Modesta (c1800-?), Vincenzo (c1809-?), Angelo Raffaele (1811-1812), Maria Crocifissa Emidia (1813-?) and Emidio Pasquale (1816-?).
