Michelangelo was born about 1769 in Colvetto, Fagnano Alto, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Domenica Daniele. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Gennaro (c1801-1812), Domenico (c1803-1880), Maria Felice (1810-?), Gennaro (1813-?) and Maria Vincenza (1815-1818).
