Modesta was born about 1740 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.

Her husband was Nicoladamo DiPaolo, who she married in ABT 1768. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Pietro Sante (1773-1848) and Paolo (c1773-1827).
