Giambattista was born about 1746 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Susanna Mascio, who he married in ABT 1770. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Romualdo (c1782-1841), Germano (c1784-1837) and Felicitta (c1787-1843).
His second wife was Nunzia DiSlicetto. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Domenico (c1794-?).
