Luigi was born about 1776 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Ottaviana DiBenedetto, who he married in ABT 1799. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Anna Maria (c1800-?), Venanzo (c1811-1813), Domenico Antonio (1812-1813), Angela Irene (1814-1819) and Angela Raffaele (1817-?).
