Luca was born about 1776 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Liberata Santacroce, who he married in ABT 1799. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Luigi Antonio (c1800-?), Sebastiano (c1800-?), Giovanni (1811-1811), Pelino Saverio (1814-1815) and Anna Antonia Caterina (1816-1816).
