Donato was born about 1749, the son of unknown parents. The place is not known.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Maria Giuseppa diCioccio, who he married in ABT 1775. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Maria Donata (c1777-1829) and Anna Rosa (c1782-1842).

His second wife is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Pasquale (c1782-?).
