Liberato was born about 1760 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Maria Lucia DiPillo, who he married in ABT 1788. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Venanzio (c1790-?), Angiola (c1793-?), Filippo Antonio (c1793-?) and Pietro (c1793-?).
