Lorenzo was born about 1775 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Pasqua Rosa Fabrizi, who he married in ABT 1803. The place has not been found. Their eight known children were Maria Maddalena (c1804-1864), Caterina (c1811-?), Rocco Antonio (1813-1814), Pietro Paolo (1815-1819), Rocco Antonio (1818-1819), Anna Rosina (1820-1821), Maria Vincenza (1822-?) and Pietro Paolo (1824-1825).
