Liberata was born about 1783 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.

Her husband was Francesco Gualtieri, who she married in ABT 1799. The place has not been found. Their nine known children were Felicia Maria (c1800-?), Maria Luigia (c1805-?), Rosa Antonia (c1810-1825), Anna Diletta (1811-?), Raffaele Antonio (1814-?), Domenico Antonio (1816-1819), Pelino Alessandro (1818-?), Maria Giuseppe (1821-?) and Domenico Antonio (1823-?).
