Filippo was born about 1778 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Maria Speranza Natale, who he married in ABT 1798. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Maria Cristina (c1799-?), Maria Luisa (c1799-?), Maria Gaetana (1812-1813), Felice Antonio (1814-1819) and Giovanna (1817-1817).
