Loreto was born about 1783 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Vincenza Pizzoferrato, who he married in ABT 1805. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Rosa Maria (c1808-?), Luigi Angelo (1812-1819), Rocco Antonio (1816-1819), Luigi Rocco Antonio (1820-?), Rocco Antonio (1822-?), Maria Giuseppa (1826-?) and Raffaele (1830-?).
