Giovanni was born in 1868 in Sestri Levante, the son of unknown parents.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Maria Peirano. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. They had no known children.
His second wife was Paula Josefina Cresta, who he married on 13 AUG 1892. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Jaun Bartolome (1896-1940).
