Celestina was born about 1762 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.

Her husband was Venanzo Santacroce, who she married in ABT 1788. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Serafina (c1791-?), Liberato (c1800-?), Maria Concezia (c1800-?), Anna Pelina (c1805-?) and Domenico (c1805-?).
