Marsilio was born about 1758 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.

His wife was Fulvia Galli, who he married in ABT 1783. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Maria Celeste (c1794-?), Paolo (c1795-1823) and Vincenzo (c1810-?).
