Gennaro was born about 1771 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Domenica DiBacco, who he married in ABT 1787. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Pietro (c1788-?), Venanzo Antonio Maria (c1793-?), Anna Antonia (c1800-1818), Giuseppe Maria (c1800-?) and Filiberto (1811-?).
