Nicola was born about 1785 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Crescenza diProspero, who he married in ABT 1805. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Pasqua Rosa (c1810-?), Liberata Maria (1813-?) and Anna Maria (c1818-1818).
