Macario was born about 1770 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Maria diPillo. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Maria Serafina (c1795-?), Maria Fabiana (c1799-?), Liberato (c1814-1814) and Panfilo Antonio (1814-1814).
