Luigi was born about 1765 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Angela Cristina DiCristofaro, who he married in ABT 1785. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Maria Lucia (c1791-?), Vincenza (c1791-1811), Serafino (c1794-?) and Maria Giuseppa (c1798-?).
