Maria was born about 1788 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.
Her husband was Crispino Petrella, who she married in ABT 1805. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Gaetano Mariano (1811-?), Giuseppe (1813-?), Aloisia (1817-1818), Concezio Carmine Antonio (1819-?) and Nicola (1823-?).
