Silvestro was born about 1775 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.

His wife was Angela Spadafora, who he married in ABT 1799. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Andrea (c1800-?), Luigi (c1806-1811), Anna Pelina (c1809-?), Patrizia (c1810-1817), Brigida (1811-?), Rocca Antonia (1815-1815) and Luigi (1817-?).
