Angela was born about 1776 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.
Her husband was Gennaro Paolini. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Angela Rosa (c1807-c1847), Domenico Antonio Lorenzo (1811-?), Felice Antonio (1814-?), Nunzio (1817-?) and Pelino (1821-?).
