Gregorio was born about 1771 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Angela DiFelice, who he married in ABT 1801. The place has not been found. Their six known children were Maria Vincenza (c1803-?), Anna Maria Luisa (c1805-?), Raffaele Antonio (1811-1813), Anna Maria (1815-1817), Nunzia (1819-1819) and Venanzo Antonio (1820-?).
