Pietro was born about 1775 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Prudente Zavarella, who he married in ABT 1803. The place has not been found. Their eight known children were Fioralba (c1804-?), Vincenzo (c1808-1812), unknown (1811-?), Luigi (c1813-?), Vincenzo Rocco Antonio (1814-1822), Salvatore Pasquale (1817-?), Maria Nicola (1819-1819) and Raffaele (1819-1819).
