Geltrude was born about 1810 in Palena, Chieti, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Falco Rattenni, who she married in 18 JUL 1835 in Palena, Chieti, Italy. Their seven known children were Maria Domenica Filomena (1836-?), Francesca (1837-?), Angela (1841-?), Francesca (1843-?), Leopoldo (1847-?), Maria Stella (1849-?) and Margherita (1858-?).

Her second husband is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Francesca (1837-?).
